The NeuroCure System project - the reason behind its creation
The rapidly deteriorating state of mental health in society, especially among young people, has become the reason why we, along with our partners, have engaged in this project. This situation is depicted, among others, in the report 'Young Minds: Opening Up About Mental Health,' commissioned by the UNAWEZA foundation led by Martyna Wojciechowska. The growing, dramatic disparity between the number of therapists and individuals in need of mental support, coupled with the observed breakdown of the psychiatric healthcare system, necessitates the search for new solutions that can save the system and, at the same time, the health, and often the lives, of many young people. Our project, bringing together leading experts in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, computer science, and artificial intelligence, addresses these needs.
